Things you should know about me

Hello, all! I'm Ella Drake and I'm a paranormal/scifi/fantasy/just-plain-weird Romance junkie. I'm new to the Paranormal Romantics. Well, quite some time ago (2009, can you believe it?) I had a guest blog, but this is the first post as a regular contributor. You're stuck with me monthly from now on. Aren't you lucky?

So other than liking unusual and SFF Romance, and writing it, here are a few things you might want to know about me (or might not. But if you don't, just pretend.)

I love Riddick. Give me a bad boy anti-hero romance and I'm there. Oh, and Loki. Can I help it if I root for him to reform while watching Thor or The Avengers?

Dragons. They're sure to snag my attention. Dragon shifter romance? I'm there before you can say Smaug (Yes, secretly in my secretest girl heart, I want a Smaug romance. Ever since reading The Hobbit. I was just too young to know it at the time).

Alphas and Betas. Now I love an Alpha as much as the next gal, and I can get into every gruff, dominating, possessive inch of a hero like that, but I love betas, too. Especially if said beta is working his way to saving the day and maybe, just maybe, being that swoon-worthy alpha. Hmm. Maybe I just like men. Moving on...

Geeks. With glasses. Fast on the keyboard with nice fast hands. Yeah. Okay. I just like men.

Weres rule, vamps drool. I fell in love with Vampire Hunter D before I'd even heard of Christine Feehan's Dark Prince. But Clay from Kelley Armstrong's Bitten has them all beat. Give me a were, any day.

I drink a hella lot of tea.

I like food, walking, sunsets on the beach...

And... I'm sure there's more. But I'll probably digress and start to embarrass myself soon. But since I'm the newbie I guess I'll try to bribe you into liking me. Erm. I meant, do a giveaway!
